I hope that was a joke by saying that Hapworth gives us a glimpse of a 'sometimes sexual' Seymour.

Seymour Glass is one of the most asexual characters I have ever encountered. In hapworth, its almost as if hes writing saying "dont worry Mom and Dad, your son has taken an interest in the opposite sex" re-read that section and tell me what you think.

Not to mention he never 'seduced' Muriel, forcing the beauty to go to her mom for an explanation (a distorted one no doubt)..the closest M comes to sex is reading a cheesy article on it..

the fact that Seymour died a virgin gives him another mystical quality in my view.
