Will,

I know what you mean about it seeming sad that the stories can be just
picked up online. However, it is a godsend for those of us who don't
live in the US and so can't necessarily find copies of the original
magizines in the library, especially if, like me, their university
tends to obstuct inter-library loans for undergraduates!
