I was in NYC during the record heat-wave in the summer
of 1999 and also hung out at Astor place w/ my
ex-girl)who lives in Maspeth). I also saw a great show
at CBGB's w/ 20 bands for 20 bucks. Headlining bands
were TSOL, UK Subs, Murphy's Law, The Business, The
Vibratoers, etc.... I got a bruise that went from my
knee to my ankle, from the front of my leg, to a
little past the inner-left-side. It was black, blue,
purple, and took nearly a month to heal. Still the
craziest pit I've been in except possibly the Vandals
out here in California. Funnesty pit I've been in was
Nine Inch Nails (floor seats), and Cypress
Hill(especially the pit for KRS-1, The Deftones, De La
Soul, and Gang Starr). Anyway, I miss NYC. It's a
chill place.
