At work a few days ago, a friend of mine discovered a wooden club-type
instrument which he declared to be, for reasons I won't go into, a "carnie
beater." The stick in question has the name "Seymour" engraved on one end,
and quite fortunately I was totally unable to explain why that made me so
happy.
