Allson successfully defended her honors thesis ("Female Character
Analysis of Nine Stories: Understanding the Girls and Women of J.D.
Salinger") today. She's completed a year's study of Salinger and will
graduate from Southern CT State U with honors...I'm very proud of her
work and grateful to all bananafish who responded to her ideas and
