Kim -- Ha. Being an old cheese doesn't make you a mature one, eh? :)

Cecilia -- good rundown of the advantages of web publishing. I've had essays
make it into print after being published on the web.

Yes, the Nick Adam's film was called "Chicken Run." Imagine the 60s sitcom
Hogan's Heroes. Then imagine all the prisoners are poultry (British), the
lead prisoner being an American chicken played by none other than Mel Gibson.
You get the picture. The poultry are being kept for eggs, but escape becomes
imperative when it is discovered they're all going to be converted to chicken
pot pies :).

It was enjoyable, but lacked much of the magic of the Wallace and Gromit short
films. The storytelling in the WG shorts -- and the comic timing --
especially in the last one, is about as close to perfect as I've ever seen.

Someone who's never seen a Wallace and Gromit short film before should see
them in order, because they get progressively better.

A Grand Day Out
The Wrong Trousers
A Close Shave

I haven't seen any of the ones being offered on the internet, but I think you
can buy them all (via download) for $9.95. It would have to be worth it.

Jim
