Don't know any sites offhand, but you might start with the reoccuring colour
green, the baseball mit, and the crucial, pivotal chapter about his
brother's death, which explains Holden's lack of congruence in the world as
well as his parents' apparant aloofness which is really just shell-shock
from losing a child. Oh, don't dare pass up an opportunity to dicuss the
birds. They're a vital clue-as-metaphore.
