i've read his first book on 'the passion', titled 'a
gentle madness'. sort of a history of book
collecting.
haven't looked into no. 2.
i would recommend 'used and rare' by nancy goldstone.
it chronicles the stages of the disease: from innocent
reader, all the way to fanatical groupie of book
fairs.
