While my fellow septagenarian Rummy is the undoubted hero
of the Iraq engagement (economy & elegance in execution,
wit & self mockery in presentation), Mohammed Saeed al-Sahaf
is running him a damned close second. Described by someone
as a mixture of Dr Goebbels & Groucho Marx, it's marvellous
to hear this indomitable joker is also a sometime Brit academic.
You can always tell when a boy has the right background.
