Of course it is when you realize that popular vote doesn't (and never has)
eleceted presidents, a preservationof those unpopular state's soveriengty.
Your vote counted as much as it should have. If we had it your way, States
like New Mexico would be a gnat's on an elephant's ass, but instead we are
just pains in the national ass.

This is a representative republic. If it were a democracy my vote wouldn't
count for any less than yours just because I'm from a more populous state.
Our electoral system persuaded the small states to be a part of the
project -- it's not much of a check or a balance.
