Heh. Maybe NJ Gov. James MacGreevey will be ready to run for President
when that time comes? He's sure getting beat up for fiscal
responsibility in NJ -- last I heard, his approval ratings were hovering
between 30% and 40%. The biggest problem with gov't fiscal
responsibility is that no one wants it badly enough.
I tend to think myself that the biggest threat to national security
isn't Bin Laden or Islamic Fundamentalist Terrorism, but the national
debt.
Glad this conversation took the turn it did. I was beginning to worry
that people actually cared about Bush's motives to the extent that they
would disregard the actual effect of his policies.
