Nah, Daniel, I'm being perfectly fair to what you've said given what
you've actually said. It's quite possible that how I'm reading you isn't
necessarily in line with what you actually mean, but it's a fair reading
of what you've actually written -- which isn't always very clear.

The KKK members I worked with in FL when I was in construction work
believed that blacks choose to be dishonest, choose to eat fried chicken
and watermelon, and choose to be shiftless. And, as a result, that
they're lesser human beings.

Kinda like your original description of intellectuals.

The apples and oranges comparison is more appropriate to my generality
about US mass population vs your generality about academics. Yes, they
are indeed two different things.

Jim

You're implying that intelligence is an inborn trait and the self perception
of being intelligence is inborn. Your KKK friends, reasoned behavior from
skin color, and if your implications are true then you are accusing me of
the same. But of course I am reasoning a behavior resulting in a self image
that motivates more behavior. I think my handling of motive is more
reasonable then what you impute to me. I am still answering your previous
post but the job is getting in the way.
