Hi there,
I was asked to introduce myself to you, since I just subscribed to this list
as of today.
My name is Karen, and my mother actually introduced me to the work of J.D.
Salinger by giving me a copy of "The Catcher in the Rye" for my 18th
birthday. She had read it when she was about the same age and was very fond
of it. I am now 25 and my copy has been read over and over again, in the
years that followed.
I must say I'm not too familiar with the other works of J.D. although I have
also read Franny and Zooey.
But I'm very interested in becoming more acquainted with his work.
I have no idea of what to expect of this, but I'm very much looking forward
to it!
