I remember Stephen asking sometime back about the appearance of a
Caulfield in S:AI...On Page 143 of my paperback edition (Penguin, silver
cover with white/black lettering):
"..There used to be an exceptionally intelligent and likablee boy on
the radio with S. and me--one Curtis Caulfield, who was eventually killed
during one of the landings in the Pacific..." <Excerpt within permissible
legal limits, I hope;)>
Also, in the Characters, I guess Miss Overman can also find a mention as
one who appears in Hapworth as well as in S:AI.
I freaked on Tim's Apple-ad and Matt's JDS's Computer thread, though I was
a trifle disappointed not to find even a passing allusion to the contents
of Bessie's kimono pockets...
As for George Ford, I thought Matt was referring to Major George Fielding
