   There's been so much speculation about my initial post concerning this that
I went and found the quote, it follows...
 "I was crazy about The Great Gatsby. Old Gatsby. Old Sport. That killed me."
                         Chapter 18 p141 in my Little Brown paperback version.
   I'm willing to say now that it is a direct refence to Gatsby, I don't think
any more.
