Where is everybody ?

Hey, is everyone on Easter Break or something? I look forward to getting my
sixteen- odd messages in the morning and today it was only three! I am
specially going to re-read all of `Nine Stories' and raise as many
questions as possible to get everyone's minds ticking over again.

A couple of things I've been thinking of :

Did anyone read an interview that was in `Rolling Stone' about 2-3 years
ago with Art Garfunkel (of Simon and Garfunkel). In it, he described an
unpublished story by JD Salinger that he wanted to play the main role in if
it ever was turned into a play. I couldn't identify it from the description
of the story he gave, and I sent it to Stephen Foskett and as far as I
know, he doesn't know what it is either. a) Did anyone see this article ?
b) Does anyone know which story he refers to? If the answer is `no' to both
those questions, then c) Do you want me to post a copy of said article ?
(it's only short) because this is something that really has me puzzled, and
kind of excited too ( does any one have Art Garfunkel's e-mail address ?)

On another note - There was an episode of `The Simpsons' where one of the
characters was reading The Springfield Shopper and flicked casually past an
article titled `We talk to ; JD Salinger' (!) Can anyone remember which
episode this was ?
