music theory and difficult transitions.

I don't know if there are any music theory people out there.  But if so you 
probably know that though much of Kurt Cobain's music uses only 8 or 9 chords 
he wrote with melodic quality unlike much of todays and yesterdays more 
complex musical compositions.  He moved somehow smoothly from two chord major 
versus to a string of seemingly unrelated flats and sharps with great ease 
and fluidity.  So maybe you think you could make that music, but the odds of 
it are incredibly slim.
