Hi A lot of people seem upset that I wrote about Kurt Cobain and Nirvana. Excuse me, but you've been comparing Salinger and Kafka and many others. Why not Cobain? It seems to be he has a LOT in common with Holden Caulfield! Or isn't it good enough to compare with someone who's actually not a famous writer like Hemingway or Kafka? Don't mean to offend no one but it seems to me that there might be some literary snobs out there! And Cobain was a VERY gifted songwriter and lyricist. If you'd bother to learn about him and read some of his lyrics instead of concentrating only on *important* literature, maybe you'd find out! And to the guy who said that something about a lot of cobain's stuff being because of heroin, I say this: Heroin doesn't make people talented! I could use heroin for 50 years and still wouldn't be able to write songs like Kurt. -Grant- ___________________________________________________ Get Your Free Email at http://www.friendlyemail.com
