madness and tao

Well, Denis, I suppose you've gathered that if I talk about Tao or 
spirituality it's from my own reading of the text to which I refer.  I haven't 
trained under any senseis unless you count my Greek-Orthodox upbringing, but I 
don't even think about their interpretation of the Bible.  If I come at you 
with heirarchy, it's going to be presenting what I think and leaving it 
completely open for you to respond.  Ex: My joints are feeling extremely sore 
today, and rather than considering seeing a doctor or taking any 
over-the-counter medication, I'm going to meditate pretty intensely to figure 
out what's going on.  Heck, I'm in medical school.
