Heroin, the movie

I suggest you rent "Trainspotting", a British film about a gaggle of
Scottish heroin addicts. There is a scene in which the lead character does
battle with what is billed as the most disgusting toilet in Scotland, which
may be the most inspired cinematic moment in film history. Well, I got a
kick out of it anyway.

Will someone please explain what Herion is? In Australia we have a brand of
painkiller called Herron Paracetamol but I don't recall any one ever
overdosing on that.
Strangely, despite being a huge Nirvana fan (and a huge Smashing Pumpkins
fan and a huge Grant Lee Buffalo, REM and Neil Young one for that matter)
this strand of conversation has bored hell out of me. Guess I'm sick of
everyone turning said deceased man into a cardboard
cutout-cum-philosophical construct/archetype/ficitonal character.
