   I'm going to guess that our old buddy JD is a Red Sox fan, mostly because
that's what happens to people ,even New Yorkers (see Doris Kearns Goodwin
for an example of this) , when they move to New England. I'm guessing that J
D was listening to Goudy imploring everyone in the audience to "Have a
'Gansett, neighbor." while Gentleman Jim was leading the Sox in the
impossible Dream season. He signed on then and is still with us. Cornish NH
really isn't that far from Boston at all, and JD's media would be dominated
by Boston. Besides that, the Red Sox aren't sports around here, it's
Religion.
