Secondly, to what end? why attribute stories to him? i KNOW theres a lot in this somewhere so please lets discuss it. i was wondering originally because APDFB, if 'written' by Buddy, becomes a fictional account of Seymour's death- if written by Salinger we know it to be a truthful account, if you see what im saying. Therefore, it becomes a fictional account (buddy wasnt there) of the suicide of a fictional, VOICELESS (someone used the term 'idea') character (the elusive seymour), written by a fictional brother (buddy). There must be a point in all this, rather than just to prove the point that Buddy is a writer. If that were the point, then wouldnt it have been more important to have published some of seymours 184 poems to prove hes a poet? ok ta very much --------------A24021F980DD5A53CBEA9FC6 Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7biti dont know if i asked this before or not but, firstly, what stories are supposed to have been written by Buddy?
