I thought I had become obsessed with Salinger when I made the same
observations while watching the x-files this week.  But I see that I am
not alone!

And I don't think we are reading too much into that one brief glimpse of
the Salinger tombstone.  The camera seemed determined to direct our
attention to his name.  Plus, the reclusive, Budhist-like writer even
looked like a young Salinger (minus the beard).
