well here i am, i rarely ever post. reading the brilliant things that pop out of everyone here is usually quite enough, seeing as i can never come up with anything very interesting to say.
anyway, i'm 16, i will be a junior in high school, and i live in frederick, maryland. i believe the nearest body of water would be ballenger creek (which, to give you some idea, flows into the monocacy river, which flows into the patomac, which flows into the chesapeake, and that of course flows into the atlantic)
there are some brilliant writers on this list and all i can say is that one day, i hope i'm as good as you guys. i absolutely love reading this list, it's the only really intelligent one that i'm on. and i think it's great that theres such a wide age range and we all get along so well.
and scottie, i agree, salinger does attract some weirdoes. but that just makes it all the more interesting. -grin-
