Subject: critique of zooey?

maybe because i have been known to purchase F&Z, CITR, RH, and 9 Stories and
force them upon "uninformed" recipients, i, too, feel a sense of personal
failure when i hear of critical attacks on jerry's works (imagine how i
react to criticism of my own work...).
because of this character flaw, i have exposed myself to very little
critical analysis of JD and am left in the dark when it comes to "the
general consensus" (and this is probably a good thing and something that i
would have wished upon JD, himself, had i the golden wand).
fully admitting that F&Z is my bible, Z being a bit more influential than F,
i am interested to sample, in small portions, the existing opinions of
others (published or unpublished). i will continue to be aware, mind you,
that these are only opinions and in no way, whatsoever, will they insult,
alter, nor devalue my own beliefs.
