Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd mention that I was reading a biography on Humphrey
Bogart (by A.M. Sperbe & Eric Lax), and on p. 39 of the hardcover
edition it mentions that he was in a play called "It's a Wise Child" !

The play opened August 5, 1929 and was "the hit of the season".
Although Salinger was only 10 years old at the time, surely this
influenced him (as far as the radio programme title) in the Glass
stories?

For those interested, Bogart played a "smug young bank clerk" and the
play was a comedy.

Any comments? (I'm not sure if this has been discussed before on this
list... ;))
