The shaft and post's point
from less an archer
than our Bowman
would never have pierced
without a hearty laugh
to help it (and me) through
too few screens
of bananafish dreams,
we've something better
to swim about now,
how about letting doctor
will out of the hospital
all fingers intact
despite a lawnmower's
best crack?
