Interesting piece--I have to admit, that I was charmed by Ms.
Salinger when she mentions those "lovely stories in magazines he
won't allow to be published in books." I've been trying to get the
book editor of the paper I'm reviewing the book for to let me go with
him when he interviews Ms. Salinger, but so far no luck and no
advance copy of the text--I will read it as soon as I get it, post
some thoughts on the list, and perhaps quote a few of you in my
review! will
