My Canadian sojourn wasn't THAT fleeting, actually.
I doubt I ever met a kinder, brighter, more welcoming,
more enlightened bunch in my life. But there WAS
a certain sameness in their view of things.
(And, really Paul. 'Bowing to your infinitely more extensive
experience' is as puffy as 'lorgnettes'.)
