I've been enjoying your posts lately.

Looking through some old boxes of books this morning in my attic, I
re-discovered a piece of Salinger-related material that I had forgotten
about. It's called 'Salinger's Glass Stories As a Composite Novel', by
Eberhard Alsen. It was published in 1983. There's a telephoto-style picture
of old J.D.S. from the late 70s. Boy, I wish they'd leave him alone!

I seem to remember the study focused quite heavily on the religious and
mystical aspects of the Glass stories, but my memory fails me. Does anyone
else have this book, and what do they think? Is it a valid study?

best,
Matt
