Reading Today's NYTimes ObituariesWill,

Sid Salinger told me in e-mail that Doris died a while ago. I think this is
a different Doris.

My wife reading the obits noticed one for Doris J Salinger...it mentions
her family "tree" from parents to grand nephews but omits Margaret &
Matthew...possibly bad reporting?

I'm sad that Ms. Salinger has passed away. I doubt it's easy on JDS . In
Dream Catcher she sounded like a fine aunt and great aunt, and from what
Margaret Salinger writes of Doris's memory, Salinger's sister was very
caring and focused on her brother.

   RIP Doris J. Salinger, 8/23

   Salinger or forever
