Following good men

We are on the brink of war in several places and I don't think the
voices of peace are strong enough. I have lived in a time where many
times war has been explained as necessary and never once could I even
imagine a reason for innocent, peaceful people to die. I'm not
Chamberlain or sell-outs of the past, but I'm listening to Gandi and
ML King and plenty of others who peacefully knew how to believe in
the power of their ideas.

I think I have enough insight into men like George Bush and Ariel
Sharon to know that I don't support their militaristic ways of
thinking. I certainly don't see evidence of their insightful,
peaceful thinking. So go ahead Scottie, romanticize war as this--the
"best" of young men fighting for stupid older men.
