Re: Salinger-related article in Sept/Oct 2002 BOOK magazine

Actually Aaron, your mixing up two interviews...the one in the
Claremont Eagle was done by a kid in highschool (it's not very good
as interviews go...) and the one that Betty Eppes did was published
in the Paris Review. Eppes, is from Louisiana or Tennesee and wasn't
local. She was attractive though and somewhat persistent, and she
also shared an interest in organic gardening with JDS.
