Maybe you are talking about different kinds of cultural acceptance of
religions...the incident at UNC makes sense to me because the it
brings together individual reading tastes with cultural biases about
prevalent religions in an educational context. I liked your
discussion about how we see or don't see religion in America.
This is totally silly, but while reading Meghan's post from friday, I
thought about how christians and jews were like microsoft and
apple...then I thought it's time for me to learn about new computer
systems (lynix?) and at the same time I realized I will have to
relearn the one I'm on (OS9-Mac to X.2?).
