Yeah, that's the problem with the categories of smart/stupid. Or
ignorant/uneducated. I think the real issue is what we do with a writer of
average intelligence who educates himself/herself well enough to draw a
genius character -- in a book that's read by other people of average
intelligence, for the most part.
