New Yorker Kabbalah article

This week's new yorker has an article by Cynthia Ozick on Gershom
Scholem who is considered one of the great Kabbalah scholars. It's
called "The Heretic" and can be found in the Sept 2, 2002 issue,
pages 143-148. I haven't read it yet, but it may be of interest to
some on this list. If there's a Salinger link, only the folks at the
New Yorker would know, but I'm guessing Robbie and Jim and a few of
their students (me for one!) may enjoy it. will
