Interesting mention of a translation...

On another listserve devoted to the philosophy of Eric Voegelin, one listmember
described the translation of Heimito von Doderer's EVERYMAN A MURDERER in the
following way:

I think the guy is a native speaker of German. Pretty interesting comment.
Apparently, the novel gave Voegelin ideas for his notion of "second reality."
