The choice not to eat is not suicide. But if it inevitably means suicide
(or
else an almost equivalent escape, as John O. says through chemicals and
fantasies), that's a hell we've created. "Hell is other people" kind of
captures it, but that's just to surrender from the start, yes?

who have chosen that but that is a cheat to them and us. Seymour gorged

then saw no future for that bloated body and ended his eating days. I

he couldn't choose the good food and eat in moderation. Does anyone

think he became bigger than his hole? If he did then why did he not
remember that life is not ALL eating and there are other things besides
apples?
