Listen to the one who planted the trees, the one who big T truth is more
than just Greek logos. It as all personal but all the little p persons are
anchored in the big P person.
Daniel

I meant, if Milton thought that by deciding to eat, humans had already
denied the power of an object of their actions

or maybe the object itself.

"We can learn what is best to eat by listening or by bruises, when we don't
listen"

Listen to whom exactly? To those who would preach to people their
experiences and dash them onto the rocks? Your vision of Omlor's world was
T-truth, for sure, but then it's hard to explain away that quote.

Hell is other people, where there's no one to listen to.

and then we're doomed to the sovereignty of our experiences?

hell becomes other people until they are taken away and then hell becomes
isolation. The bruised rebel can not live with or without other people.
Other people are objects to some for their power politics and rhetoric to
act upon or frustrate. The die has been cast we wager and pay or reap
according to the marks on the bone. We don't control the die but our
wager
is ours to spend as we will. Milton saw this, I think, transcendently.
Daniel

How about Milton, and the original decision to eat or not?
