A fellow recluse

Hi all,

In the spirit of Jerome's need to be left alone, I recommend that you all
consider doing what I am doing tonight -- spending the evening with the reclusive
Greta Garbot.

I suggest this not only because I adore her, but because the movies Turner
Classic Movies has been showing all day today and will be showing all night, are
delightful and her indescribable face is often on the screen.

At the moment a documentary about her is beginning and it will be followed by
a few of her best. (Already, some of her classic silent work has been shown
this afternoon.)

Now I'm off to be with that face.
