John, I thought you celebrated garbage?
Daniel

First of all, the "school" (if that means me) believes that the author's
intent is exceeded when the text encounters readers.
John O.

It may exceed it but that is the point for the love of wisdom, trimming it
back. Oh well John enjoy your stay in the zoo or is it Dresden, I forget
what truth you are currently trying to sell.
Daniel

Secondly, I direct people to a text to find out what the text says.
John O.

John, you direct people to a text to find out what you mean. We go to the
texts and you tell us the reader that our readings are wrong and that the
texts self create the boundaries of their meanings and we stupid readers
should know that you know the Truth. The intent of the author is exceeded
when the reader reads and the readers can never recover that meaning but the
only meaning that is in the text speaks for itself and John hears it and if
you disagree you didn't read the text for what it says. John read your
texts and let us know what they say to you for all of us.
Daniel

And such a suggestion seems way too often to be in order around here.
John O.

I read, you read we argue and the world is better because you have your
't'ruth and I have mine and we end it all in a shit throwing frenzy. Oh
yeah it's the journey and not the destination that matters for you, so any
philosophical destinations don't matter. So any conclusions drawn from the
reading are what? Well, wishing you a shit filled journey.
Daniel
