The choice of clinical 'feces' over impolite 'shit' seemed to ring with
Scottie's sentiment concerning craft and the silence. I'll mention 'or'
only to leave it unmentioned. Now you present the poor widow Muriel, and
some how in Kim's black box of transmutational wonders sex !Presto! becomes
feces. Now, that is a provocation dripping with the odor of 'unsure'; but
maybe the fact that it is a women's magazine casts light?. I reply
resisting the intellectual temptation of over thinking the provocation.
