So the penal colony as specifically described in Kafka's text does not exist
but rather it is something in the material world? So you extrapolate
nonmaterial descriptions from fictional works into the material and that is
a material observation. So you do see ghosts? Luke's Pirates of the
Caribbean comment was unnecessary after all.
