I am sure the reply meant that it is strange that so many believed it was the voice of Vonnegut and it wasn't. The author wasn't even trying to sound like Vonnegut yet she sounded like Vonnegut and all around the world many thought that Vonnegut really made a commencement speech. It's not real in the sense that it was not a real incident; Vonnehut did not make this speech. I am certain that no one here would dispute the fact that an unknown woman is capable of something wonderfully written. laura
