Okay, first off I'm sorry for zapping the speech to the list in light of the fact that it had the wrong attribution. I've been over at the Columbia River gorge all weekend seeing Phish and just got back. But the ironic thing about the speech is that it was forwarded to me by a friend who is actually related to Vonnegut. So there ya go. On the one hand it's a shame that ol' Kurt's name got attached to it, but the greater glory goes to Mary Schmich in the final tally. I think it was a wonderful speech regardless of who wrote it. Who knows...maybe Mary Schmich is the new Kurt Vonnegut. I bet somewhere there's an editor getting her on the phone right now. Oh, and to the person who so eloquently said "unknown woman is not capable of something wonderfully written." Please take your sexist attitudes elsewhere. Cheers, Malcolm
