They are bibles of manipulation and know how to do nothing more than
isolate both of the genders and keep them suspicious about each other and
draw up plans for strategy like the whole mating ritual has been reduced to
legally sanctioned kidnapping, nothing more. "How to Make Him Do This" "How
To Find Out More About Him Than He Knows About You" "They're All The Same
Anyway, So Listen To Us and We Bet you He's Just Like We Say He Is." They
reinforce stereotypes, keep their female audience nervous and anxious about
petty things that will "drive him away" and as such just generally ruin the
work and achievements that females have secured in the last thirty years
that are non-domestic. The magazines are the status quo of the Pine-Sol
set. But, really, who gives two shits about Pine-Sol?
