I'd be so interested...if you don't want to bore people (although I 
dought it would be boring) maybe email me privately?
Also, since JDS seems to use names as a tie in with the character's 
personality, at least with Holden, any thoughts on his first name?

Yeah, SHE said very little that was memorable besides, "Now class, if 
you were the psychologist listening to Holden, what sort of 
psychological imbalance would you diagnose him with?"  She also tried to 
discuss the possible symbolism of the cover of the white edition with 
the little rainbow in the corner.  Feel free to break her knees.

I got a wonderful surprise today when I caught the cashier in a 
stationery-type store reading _9 Stories_ furtively behind the counter.  
We talked about it...like we were sisters or something.  Kind of the 
same I suppose as finding a stranger already looking in the Salinger 
section of a bookstore when you go over there...
