  i only have two paperback copies of catcher but one of them has something
  amusing written in it.  it is a copy which was given to me by the wife of
  my favourite college professor.  her son read it in high school so he has
  his name scrawled on the inside of the cover.  also on the inside cover
  he wrote a question which i assume was given to him by his teacher.  it
  read, "in terms of christian standards what type of person is holden?"
  then on the last page of the book he wrote what i assume was how he felt
  about the question after reading catcher.  he wrote, "basically this
  question SUX."  so what do you bananafishers think?
