Out of curiosity, is your copy of A Writing Life an actual book or a
photocopy?  I have it in the form of a photocopy (it looks like a reader from
a college course) that i got from an old professor of mine who reviewed books
for a local newspaper.  He received the galleys in this form, which led me to
believe that there was no official hardback book published in this form.

Can anyone tell me if there is an actual "book" of the galleys?  Or was it
just a copy of the typeset pages without a formal cover?  I'd be psyched to
know that what cost me $7.50 to copy at Kinko's (before the copyright case
was tried) is now worth a couple grand (not that I'd ever sell it).
