back to school for some, I suppose

I first read Catcher in English, then later stumbled across a French-translated one.
The "goddamn"s have attempted to be translated, naturally, as have been the
"phonies". But the *feeling* of Catcher was different. It didn't feel like seeing the
world through Holden's eyes. It didn't even feel like Salinger. (But I suppose even
a translated Salinger is better than no Salinger at all.) Then came the f-you part.
It was written (from memory now, I hope this is right): je t'enc... I, being unfamiliar
with the French f-you, could only gape at the hole. Any French-speakers know
what's supposed to follow?
